Your place to discover great books. (I might be biased.)

Growing up is hard to do. Reading about it is easier.

We were all young once, and some of us still are, but because each of us has a different growing-up experience, we wonder if we’ve missed out on the joys, trials, and craziness that others have experienced. So, we read coming-of-age to remember the good times and analyze the bad times, as well as turn back the clock, if just for a little while, to get the feels all over again. John Hughes made a career on young nostalgia, and he’s one of my favorite filmmakers of all time, and so my fondness for his films have translated into my own dive into the genre. And if you add popular writers like Nick Hornby into the mix, then maybe you’ll begin to understand the people who have influenced this section. And if youthful nostalgia sounds like a place you want to return to, then check out these titles to whet your palate.
