Your place to discover great books. (I might be biased.)

A good story is just a click away. So, go on, click, and see what you get.

As readers, sometimes we find that the best genre to read is no genre at all. But other times we want to read a good fantasy, romance, science-fiction, or holiday story to meet our needs. This section features any book that doesn’t slot well into my primary genres of focus, including those without a genre leaning or those that share elements with a genre I don’t normally write in.

Note: Some books I’ve featured in other categories may still appear here. If so, then odds are they’re cross-genre books, with one of the genres leaning toward fantasy, romance, experimental fiction, or anything that doesn’t align with my core three genres.

Amusement

a short story

(2015)

What tough man would a nip-cat trap if a nip-cat kid-napped man?

Sammy is a sound businessman who believes professionalism makes the world a happier place. But when his investment firm partners with a famous theme park built on loose values and questionable ethics, Sammy becomes locked in psychological battle with the park’s mascot, Nippy the Cat, and risks losing his strict sense of professionalism, and his mind, in the process.

Waterfall Junction

and

The Narrow Bridge

two short stories

(2016)

Two heroes. Two destinies. One duology of trials, tribulations, and redemption.

Two short tales of adventure and fantasy about would-be heroes who face life-threatening elements, confront their own eroding courage, and learn to trust the unfamiliar guides who lead them to the prizes promised to them. These stories show hope and faith in a world that wants to destroy both and crush those heroes who fight for redemption.
